Cycling: at what time and on which channel to watch the Amstel Gold Race with Van der Poel and Cosnefroy?

Will the ogre Mathieu van der Poel continue his incredible harvest? After winning E3, the Tour of Flanders and Paris-Roubaix, the world champion can add a new major race to his list of achievements: the Amstel Gold Race. Already winner of the event in 2019, he is the overwhelming favorite for this Ardennes classic, where he will have few competitors.

His team will still be very strong. Supported in particular by Soren Kragh Andersen, Jasper Philipsen and Axel Laurance, the Dutchman could still crush the race, and start several tens of kilometers from the finish as he has become accustomed to doing.

A Frenchman could, however, play spoilsport. Winner this Wednesday during the Flèche Brabançonne, Benoît Cosnefroy seems in excellent form and will be one of the outsiders of the race, a usual status for him in the Ardennes. We can also cite Matteo Jorgenson, Dylan Teuns, Mattias Skjelmose, Matej Mohoric, Marc Hirschi and Thomas Pidcock among the candidates for final victory.

The Amstel Gold Race will be followed this Sunday April 14 from 1 p.m. on France 3 and Eurosport 2 as well as live commentary on the leparisien.fr website.
