Another piece to the puzzle on defense is on the way and Colorado’s 2025 football recruiting class is coming together.

On Saturday, former Michigan and Charlotte linebacker Nikhai Green-Hill committed to the Buffaloes. In addition, two high school prospects announced their verbal commitments to the Buffs and head coach Deion Sanders.

Listed at 6-foot-2, 230 pounds, Green-Hill had 73 tackles, two sacks and a forced fumble last year at Charlotte, his only season with the 49ers.

Prior to transferring to Charlotte, Green-Hill spent three seasons at Michigan. He made six starts in 2021, racking up 50 tackles, but missed the 2022 season with injuries.

Three-star tight end Corbin Laisure (Bluff City, Tenn.) and three-star linebacker Mantrez Walker (Buford, Ga.) also gave their pledges to the Buffs.

CU now has three players committed for 2025, including four-star cornerback Alex Graham, who gave his pledge on Friday.

The 6-5, 215-pound Laisure caught 64 passes for 774 yards and 10 touchdowns as a junior last fall at Sullivan East High School. As a sophomore, he caught 30 passes for 419 yards and four touchdowns. In basketball, he averaged 16.1 points and 11.2 rebounds per game.

A three-star prospect by 247Sports, Laisure has 14 scholarship offers, including from Arizona State, Louisville and Syracuse.

Walker, listed at 6-1, 225, had 54 tackles and four tackles for loss at Buford High School last season. Rated as a three-star by 247, Walker has 28 scholarship offers, including from Miami, Michigan, Mississippi and Stanford.
