Here is the story of Art (Mike Faist) and Patrick (Josh O’Connor), childhood friends who have always played and progressed in tennis together. In full rise, they cross paths with Tashi (Zendaya), a new female sensation on the courts. Which will lead to a three-way relationship, where everyone plays their part like on the field: going through all the emotions, sometimes very violent, and with devious blows up for grabs. When Tashi suffers a career-ruining injury, she becomes a renowned trainer, with Art, whom she has since married, as her main client. Art makes a name for himself, Tashi too, while Patrick, disgusted both in matters of tennis and love, vegetates and gets lost.
