The RB Leipzig coach wants to clarify the future during the summer break. His contract runs until 2025.

Coach Marco Rose from RB Leipzig wants to talk to the club management during the summer break about extending his contract, which expires in 2025.

“For me it’s important when we talk about contracts, what ambitions we have, where we want to go and what the squad looks like. Are we going to have another major upheaval or will the team stay together?” said the 47-year-old in an interview with Pay -TV channel Sky.

With 2.04 points after 82 competitive games, Rose currently has the best value of a Leipzig coach since the club’s promotion. But he doesn’t want to take too much pride in it. “If the statistics didn’t look like that, then maybe I wouldn’t be there anymore. That’s always the other part of football. There’s more to it than the head coach,” said Rose. He wants to avoid another major upheaval at RB Leipzig in the next transfer period at all costs.
