Brad Stevens Named NBA Executive of the Year After Celtics’ Dominant Season

The awards continue to rain down during these Playoffs. Today, Brad Stevens is rewarded by winning the title of Executive of the Year in the NBA.

Brad Stevens’ transition from coach to manager is going well, thank you for him. Just three years after changing hats, Stevens has already won an executive title. Not exactly a surprise as the Boston Celtics reigned over the regular season, finishing with a record of 64 wins and just 18 losses.

Brad Stevens has won the NBA Basketball Executive of the Year Award for the first time. He is in his third season in his current position after serving as the Celtics’ head coach for eight seasons.

This award also rewards the hard work of Brad Stevens in the 2023 offseason. The latter had in fact recovered Kristaps Porzingis then Jrue Holiday in quick succession to form a five of death on the Boston side with the Jay Brothers and Derrick White.

For the details of the votes, Brad Stevens comes well ahead since he obtained 54 points ahead of his runner-up, Sam Presti (Thunder). Tim Connelly of the Minnesota Timberwolves completes the podium.
