On May 4th at the Fiumara Stadium in Genoa, during the ‘Genova Boxing Night’, the match valid for the Italian super middleweight title will take place. The reigning champion Leonardo “Laghino” Balli (8-1-2), will put the title up for grabs against Ervis Lala (8-0-1), Albanian by birth but who moved to Genoa at the age of 11, his official challenger in the first match with the title on the line.
For Balli, belonging to the Rosanna Conti Cavini team, it will be the second defense of the Italian belt won in September 2023 by beating Simone Bicchi for Kot in the first round and then defended in January against Ignazio Crivello, overwhelmed in two rounds.
The Genoa meeting will be organized by Team Magnesi and Alessandra Branco’s A&B Events who manage Lala’s career.
