When wide receiver Stefon Diggs was traded from the Buffalo Bills to the Houston Texans on April 3, fans wondered who would become the Bills’ new star receiver.
It sounds like Bills general manager Brandon Beane may have a plan to replace Diggs in the upcoming NFL draft, according to linebacker Von Miller.
Right now, the Bills hold the 28th pick in the first round, but Miller teased on his Instagram story this weekend that Beane could trade up to try to select a wide receiver.
“Brandon Beane arriving to the 2024 NFL draft to trade up for a WR,” Miller wrote. “In Beane we TRUST. Bills Mafia LFG.”

No one high up on the Bills organization has confirmed this plan, but fans shouldn’t be surprised if this trade up happens at the draft after Miller’s warning.
Some of the star receivers who entered in the draft this year are Ohio State’s Marvin Harrison Jr., LSU’s Malik Nabers, Washington’s Rome Odunze and LSU’s Brian Thomas Jr., to name a few. They are all predicted to be selected before the Bills’ No. 28 pick, so if Buffalo wants one of these wideouts, trading up would make the most sense.
