I fell in love with him so much that I moved from Yokohama.

In the case of Yoshida Yoshiaki (40)

Just two years ago, I never imagined I would be dancing at Brex Arena.

My hometown is Yokohama. She has always loved basketball. He started in the 5th grade of elementary school, and throughout junior high and high school, he played on a local club team and coached a minibus.

When I was in my second year of high school, I got an autograph from Yuta Tabuse.

The Yabe Arrows minibus team that Tabuse played for is a team from the district next to where I lived. I heard that Tabuse, who was studying abroad in the United States at the time, had returned to Japan temporarily and was playing basketball at a place called Totsuka Junior High School with his teammates from Yabe Arrows, so when I went to watch him, I got his autograph.

Now that I think about it, it probably had something to do with Brex. But at that time, there was no team called Brex yet.

After graduating from university, I worked as a childcare worker in my hometown. I liked playing basketball, and continued to play on club teams even after I became a member of society, but even after the birth of the B.League, I didn’t have much interest in Japanese basketball, and instead watched the NBA a lot. Ta.

Two years ago, my fate changed. A friend I met on the Yokohama basketball team when I was a university student changed jobs and started working at Brex, and he asked me to come watch a game. It was a match against the Yokohama Bee Corsairs on March 5, 2022.

I was surprised. It was the first time I realized that professional basketball in Japan is so exciting and fun. What particularly impressed me was Brealy’s direction and the enthusiasm of the Brex fans.

Three weeks later, I went to see a game between Yokohama BC and Chiba Jets at the Yokohama International Pool. The match was heated and interesting, but the atmosphere at the venue was different from Brearley. I was once again impressed by the sense of unity in Breari and the enthusiasm of the Utsunomiya area.
