Six days after its frustrating setback at home against Barça, in the quarter-final first leg of the Champions League (3-2), PSG will prepare to play the most important match of its season against the Catalans, at the Olympic stadium in Montjuïc – the Camp Nou is still under construction -, for the return match on Tuesday.
Unlike Xavi’s troops, victorious in Cadiz this Saturday (1-0), Luis Enrique’s men benefited from a weekend of rest thanks to the LFP’s arrangements for French clubs involved in the European Cup.
Due to a yellow received in the first leg, Sergi Roberto, captain of Barcelona and scorer of the Remontada goal in 2017, will not take part in the match. As for the Parisians, Achraf Hakimi should go the opposite way. Suspended in the first leg, the Moroccan international should resume his place as a right-back. Still on the right, Nordi Mukiele has received the medical green light to rejoin the group and will be traveling to Catalonia.
