Barça-PSG: fireworks set off at night next to the Hôtel des Parisiens in Barcelona

On the eve of the quarter-final first leg of the Champions League (2-3), Parisian supporters set off fireworks not far from the hotel where Xavi’s players were sleeping in the 8th arrondissement of Paris. A week later, it was the turn of the Barcelona players to try to disturb the sleep of Paris Saint-Germain players by doing the same. On X, the Spanish media Chiringuito published a video in the middle of the night from Monday to Tuesday, around 2:45 a.m., where we see, and above all hear, these shots.

Several detonations rang out next to a famous Barcelona hotel located on the seaside. “Several people came to interrupt the players’ sleep,” writes Chiringuito.

Luis Enrique’s men must turn things around this Tuesday evening at 9 p.m. and win by a goal to snatch, at least, extra time, or by a greater margin in order to qualify for the last four of the League champions at the end of regulation time.

In the afternoon, the PSG players were somewhat heckled when they settled into the hotel. Barcelona for six seasons, Parisian Ousmane Dembélé was the most provoked by the Catalan supporters when the Parisian bus arrived.
