Andy Murray’s Rehab Progressing Well as He Aims for Return to the Pitch Soon

The rehab is going well and he hopes to be able to play on the pitch again soon. There is no date for his return to competition yet.

Murray only announced in February that he would probably end his career this summer. But then the injury followed during his third-round defeat against Tomas Machac (7:5, 5:7, 6:7). He was able to finish the match despite the pain.

After this setback, participation in Wimbledon, where the Scot won two of his three Grand Slam titles in 2012 and 2016, is also more than uncertain.

The tournament at Church Road begins on July 1st. Recently there was also speculation that the Olympic Games in Paris (July 26th to August 11th) could still be on the agenda for the 2012 and 2016 Olympic champion.

The next few weeks and months will show whether Murray will be fit in time for the two highlights.
