Quarter finals

Goki Tajima (Tokyo, Park 24) ○GS foul[指導3](GS4:08)△Hisaki Harasawa (Chofu Kosan, China) Tajima releases Harasawa’s pressure with his left tsurigoshi and ukigoshi.

Harasawa, who is 191 cm tall and weighs 120 kg, and Tajima, who is 170 cm and 90 kg, are both in the right group. As soon as the word “hajime” was announced, Tajima dashed furiously. Use the puller on the back, and the fishing hand on the back of the collar in a “hugging contest.” When Harasawa’s large body floated upwards, the hall erupted into a roar. However, the referee kept his cool and gave Tajima a bear hug ten seconds into the game.

After that, Harasawa skillfully grabbed the back collar with his fishing hand and the collar/sleeve with his pull hand to win the grapple, but Tajima did not dare to dislike him too much and accepted the grapple, and countered with a left fishing waist by grabbing the horizontal obi with his pull hand. This is what happens. Harasawa grabs Harasawa’s armpit and back collar and closes him to the corner, but Tajima cuts him with his left sleeve at the waist and says, “Wait,” for 34 seconds. Next, Harasawa grabs the collar and oku-collar and pulls out a sharp right Konuchi-gari, lowers Tajima’s back and grabs the rear obi from above with his fishing hand, but Tajima again cuts the development with a left fishing waist and 1 Minutes and 29 seconds: “Wait.” Furthermore, Harasawa grabbed the collar with the puller and the back of the neck with the fishing hand, pulled it forward, and this time hit the right inner thigh, but Tajima raised his leg high and intercepted it, and again, he cut off the development with the left fishing waist, 2 minutes 27 seconds later. “wait”. Harasawa, who has been winning so far in grappling but still having trouble throwing, changes his technique and uses one-handed Ouchi-gari to catch the deep collar, and the puller makes a pocket on the inside of the sleeve and grips it tightly. Tajima was in a bit of trouble as he was unable to cut the handle, but Harasawa, who was unable to develop any specific techniques, planned to use both hands to switch hands. In the process of this work, he left his fishing hand in one collar, and was given “guidance” for 3 minutes and 11 seconds. At this point, the cumulative fouls are tied. In the final stage of the main match, when Harasawa won, Tajima took off with a daring right ouchi-kari, and when they separated, both players tacitly agreed to go into overtime. The players stayed away and waited for the final buzzer to sound, and the game went into overtime.

Early in the overtime period, Harasawa made a winning move and first hit a right-handed Ouchi-gari, then exposed this afterimage and delivered a sharp right-handed Kouchi-gari. Using this combination, he used his fishing hand to grab the back belt, and tried to lift Tajima up with his right arm. Tajima also returned the horizontal belt and received it, but immediately after, at 24 seconds into the GS overtime period, Tajima was in a passive game stance and was called “Guidance 2”. Since then, Harasawa has continued to hold the oku collar as a fishing hand and has the upper hand. It seemed like Tajima’s prospects were wide open at this point, but even though he was in a difficult position, Tajima hit back with a left-hand keikage-nage and a left-sleeve tsurigomi-shi, although it was shallow, to prepare his hand, and at 1 minute 24 seconds into the extra period of the GS, he raised his wrists above his head. The left sleeve has a large waistband. Immediately after this extremely persistent technique, Harasawa was given “Instruction 2” with a passive fighting stance, and the score was tied again.

Harasawa withstands Tajima’s left sleeve attack.

From then on, it was a battle to the death. At 1:47 of the GS overtime period, when Harasawa got on his knees to receive Tajima’s left-sleeve fishing kick, there was a big round of applause from the audience. Next, Tajima threw a right-handed sotogari, then a right-handed ouchi-gari, which Harasawa twisted back with a float, and Tajima cut off the development with a left ippon seikage. At 2 minutes and 40 seconds of the GS overtime, Tajima stretched out and Harasawa. was unable to stand up from sitting straight, and once again the audience erupted in loud applause. From then on, at 3:03, when Tajima’s left side attack cut off his development, at 3:18 when Harasawa was about to catch Tajima’s Ouchi-kari in a floating chest-to-chest, Harasawa tried to suppress him. At 3 minutes and 43 seconds, when Tajima returned to face-to-face with a “foot-dipping” and “wait”, the two struggled to get back up each time the action broke, and each time the audience erupted in applause and cheers. Continuing development, Harasawa hits the back and Tajima rolls inside the left. When she hugs him deeply by the sleeves and forces him to rotate, Harasawa flies slightly and falls onto his lap onto the tatami. Then, behind both of them, who could not stand up while sitting straight, the referee gestured for them to “dress properly.” At 4 minutes and 8 seconds into extra time, Harasawa was ordered to “teach” for his passive playing attitude, and the game ended.

FurutaMr. Nishimori, please tell us about the match between Tajima and Harasawa.

NishimoriIn a sense, Tajima was trying to do his best and was suddenly given a bear hug.

FurutaIt’s called “honor leadership.”

NishimoriIt was a funny start. After that, Harasawa took advantage of the difference in reach and went on the offensive. Tajima received some “guidance” first, but from then on Harasawa’s side was unable to attack. This was also the case in the semi-finals of the Tokyo Olympics, but I once again realized the problem that Harasawa has faced over the past few years: “not being able to hit the ball” in critical situations. Also, it was a match where I strongly felt the strength of Tajima’s fighting spirit and his ability to perform techniques from both the left and right sides.
