Alejandra Valencia Shines in Pan American Archery Championship: Eyes Three Gold Medals

The Sonoran archer Alejandra Valencia has secured its participation in the finals of three categories in the Pan American Archery Championshipwhich is celebrated in Medellín, Colombia. After its outstanding performance this Friday, Valencia adds to the team final, the dispute for gold medal in the Individual and Mixed categories.

Valencia, Olympic medalist in Tokyo 2020, demonstrated her skill by lead the women’s recurve bow elimination round. Her impeccable performance led her to have a date against the American Casey Kaufhold next Sunday, April 14 to define the winner of the golden metal.

By obtaining the best score of the continental event, with a total of 668 points, Valencia even set a record in the championship.
