After qualifying against Barça, PSG players welcomed to Roissy by their supporters at 4 a.m.

It was a cool April night but a historic evening for PSG, so it was necessary to mark the occasion. Some Parisian supporters celebrated until the end of the night the qualification for the semi-final of the Champions League against FC Barcelona by coming to welcome the players on their arrival at Roissy Charles de Gaulle airport, around 4 a.m., in coming from the Catalan capital.

Several videos are circulating on social networks where we see supporters welcoming the players in a very good-natured atmosphere, mixed with joy and songs (“Ousmane! Ousmane”) at the airport’s pavilion of honor, where the Parisians’ private plane landed. The captain, Marquinhos, author of a remarkable performance, even came to clap the hands of the courageous supporters.

IIt is common for Parisian supporters to brave the night to come and salute their heroes. For example, they had already done it the night following the victory in the clasico against Marseille, on April 1. On the other hand, it will not be possible to have quite the same atmosphere on the return from Dortmund, since the first leg will be played at Signal Iduna Park, in Germany. The Parisians will therefore not be able to qualify at that time. But they will perhaps have the opportunity to celebrate, a few days later, qualifying for a second Champions League final (the first with an audience) in a glowing Parc des Princes.

After the meeting, Kylian Mbappé also had a thought for the Parisian supporters. “This victory is for them too,” proclaimed the star striker. The supporters had a long journey, it was complicated for them. We were not helped in the organization of the match, in terms of places. It was a hassle! We thought of them and we are very happy.
