Lisa Elbaz, a young Cassonnaise, but a Grandchamp Martial Arts judoka since 2015, at only 12 years old, has just qualified for the French judo championship in the junior category.
After a good first place in less than 63 kg at the departmental championship which took place at the Croissant departmental dojo in Nantes on January 14, she repeated the feat with a first place at the regional championship, in Angers, on February 10, thus opening the doors to the French championship which is to take place at the end of March in the Paris region.
Note the fine performance of her Grandchamp comrade, Maïtena Boulc’h-Laborde, first in the minimal departmental championship in less than 57 kg, then fifth in the regional championship.
