Xavi celebrates the corrido lying down in the Blackberry Auditorium – El Sol de México

Singer Xavi celebrated a successful debut at the Blackberry Auditorium, with a show belonging to his “Poco a poco” tour. The song that gives its name to the tour was the first to be played tonight, followed by “I’ve already surpassed you” and “Modo DND”.

“It’s a blessing to be here, I’m super grateful, it’s a pride to be Mexican,” said the 19-year-old singer, who a few weeks ago entered Spotify’s Global Top 50 with his hit “La Diabla,” surpassing Taylor Swift.

Among the audience were several minors who came with their family, and they turned out to be the most enthusiastic, because not only did they know all the songs, but they also came with some of the most original outfits (shiny dresses, jackets with sequins).

The show continued with “Friends with Benefits”, “Zero Sentiments”, “Without Paying Rent”, and “3:00 Am”. The singer paused briefly to meet some of his followers.

He took in his hands a poster from a young fan named Oscar, who asked him to take a photo with him. To please his wish, she asked that the author and his companion come up to immortalize the moment.

Showing great simplicity, he continued to interact with his fans, and signed a cap, in addition to receiving a traditional stuffed animal from Dr. Simi, expressing his deep gratitude.

For the song “La diabla”, which launched him to fame, he invited a child in a wheelchair named Bryan to perform the song with him. Amid applause, the little boy performed some fragments, unleashing expressions of tenderness among the audience.

After singing “Corazón de piedra” and “La Victim”, he moved on to the covers block made up of “Rayando el sol”, “ Ahora te puede march” and “Kilómetros”. During the latter she came down from the stage to sing to her mother, who was in the audience. “I love you son,” said the lady.

To close the show, he performed “La diabla” again, this time alone, and “La Victim,” a song that has already accumulated 239 million views on Spotify. “Thank you Mexico City, I love you,” the artist said goodbye.
