Grigor Dimitrov defeated world number two Carlos Alcaraz in the quarterfinals of the Masters tournament in Miami. The Bulgarian moved into the semi-finals on Thursday after a convincing 6:2 6:4 in 1:33 hours and will meet the German Alexander Zverev, who had previously beaten Fabian Marozsan from Hungary 6:3 7:5.
The women’s final has been decided, where the American Danielle Collins and Jelena Rybakina from Kazakhstan will meet on Saturday. The unseeded Collins easily defeated Yekaterina Alexandrova from Russia 6:3 6:2. Rybakina, seeded fourth, had more trouble with Viktoria Asarenka from Belarus and won 6:4 0:6 7:6 (7/2).
