This weekend, Oviedo hosts the Spanish Junior Oviedo Open international badminton tournament. 162 players, coming from 13 countries, will meet from today until Friday at the Corredoria Arena.
The Oviedo sports center hosts this tournament, which counts for the European ranking and for the U19 World Cup to be held in China in September.
Among the participants, the world number one in the junior ranking, Bharath Latheesh, from the United Arab Emirates, stands out. This is one of the 28 players in the world’s top 100 participating this weekend in this international event.
