World Cup 2030: Morocco, Portugal and Spain reveal plans – Football

“YallaVamos” is the slogan that will accompany the football World Cup which will take place in Spain, Portugal and Morocco in 2030. The motto which brings with it the key objective of the joint candidacy, that is to create a tournament “for football, for the world, for tomorrow”, was presented today at the headquarters of the Portuguese Football Federation in Lisbon by CEO Antonio Laranjo.


The mission of the organizers of the World Cup, which for the first time in its history will be played on two continents, is to build bridges between civilizations, leaving a lasting legacy in terms of sustainability, innovation, investments and social impact, in the name of modern football infrastructures, short travel times and the intense passion of the host countries. “Football will ultimately become what we shape inside. We have the obligation to take care of it and give it a meaning that inspires everyone,” Fernando Gomes President of the Portuguese Football Federation said during the event.


During the event, the first football legends who will be ambassadors of the Tournament were presented: Luis Figo for Portugal, Andres Iniesta for Spain and Nourredine Naybet for Morocco, while Emmanuel Adebayor will represent the entire African continent. Active champions such as Cristiano Ronaldo, Alvaro Morata and Yassine Bonou will also be supporting the organization which will experience its next official FIFA moment in July.
