Cosenza will host the first match of the women’s national team in the Euro 2025 qualifiers, the match against the Netherlands scheduled for next April 5th, which will be followed by the one on April 9th against Finland in Helsinki.
The Italians last played in the Calabrian city 28 years ago, in 1996, when they beat England 2-1 in a European Championship qualifying match. The men’s national team (1967) and the Under 21 team (1985 and 1988) also played in the ‘San Vito’ stadium.
