With “The Grand”, beIN SPORTS France acquires a new sound identity

beIN SPORTS unveils its new sound signature, an original composition designed specifically for the brand by its creative agency, LAFOURMI in partnership with the musical and sound creation agency PHANTOM PUNCH.

It is with the talented Rob Jager, a renowned Dutch producer who has already left his musical mark on giants such as Nike and Sephora, that the agencies took up the challenge of creating a sound identity which not only gives its full dimension to the intensity of sport, but which also underlines the ambition for excellence of the beIN SPORTS brand. “Creating a new impactful and proprietary sound identity was a real challenge, especially when the previous one accompanied the channel for 10 years” explains Clément Cimarro, Creative Director of LAFOURMI.

This new sound territory will be used for beIN SPORTS advertising campaigns, on all media, from television to digital and radio. “For the musical theme to become inseparable from the channel’s identity, it had to be based on a strong gimmick and the brass instruments appeared as an obvious response to the promise of ‘The greatest of shows’ carried by beIN SPORTS” explains Julien Boulfray, founder of PHANTOM PUNCH.

Furthermore, the channel plans to use this new sound occasionally on its broadcasts (trailers, show jingles, etc.) as well as in its digital programs (match summaries, podcasts, etc.). “Sport is a unique emotional experience and we wanted our sonic identity to reflect that intensity and passion. We are convinced that this musical composition, the fruit of the fruitful collaboration with LAFOURMI, will become inseparable from the beIN SPORTS experience” declares Isabelle Guérin, Marketing Director of beIN SPORTS.
