Wilfrid Hounkpatin (Castres) back to face Toulouse in Top 14?

Wilfrid Hounkpatin should play rugby again on Saturday against Toulouse. The last time was on January 6, during the defeat of his Castres team against Racing 92 (34-30). A few days later, on January 10, the right pillar was placed in police custody for domestic violence against his wife. An argument broke out during which he pushed her. For these facts, Hounkpatin, currently under judicial supervision, will be tried on April 3.

Very quickly, the leaders of the Tarn club communicated, deciding to lay off the player. We thought that was going to be the case until the hearing was held, but Hounkpatin returned to training about ten days later, first alone, then with the group. Very used during the first part of the season with 12 match sheets, the very powerful pillar – who perhaps benefits from Levan Chilachava’s injury – should therefore return to face Toulouse on Saturday (3 p.m.).

Barlot, recovered from his injury, also returns

Hit in an ankle on February 15, during training with Castres, Gaëtan Barlot is also back. Crossed at the end of the match against Toulon (25-17, February 18), with a walking boot, the hooker, who had therefore had to give up preparation for the match of the fifteenth of France against Scotland, had explained that it wasn’t very serious, convinced that he would be able to return to competition very quickly.
