Kurt is again without a club after he was most recently under contract with Turkish fourth division club Karaman FK. According to his own statement, club boss Han has done everything to ensure that the now 27-year-old gets back on track.
“I wanted him to get back on his feet. He could have done it, but to do that he would have had to change his attitude. Sinan didn’t develop any further and was significantly overweight after we sent him to Germany. We even gave him one personal trainer. When he came back, he just couldn’t assert himself,” he explained the decision to separate.
“I wanted Sinan to get some match practice and was planning on loaning him to a club in the Turkish third division, but he was against it. We were fighting against relegation and Sinan would have been a risk.”
