While the president of Brazil, Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva, yesterday criticized the decision of a Spanish court to grant provisional release to Dani Alves, sentenced to four and a half years in prison for sexual assault, if he pays bail of 1.1 million dollars , the former footballer Robson de Souza, better known as Robinhowas arrested in Brazil to serve a nine-year prison sentence for the crime of gang rape against a woman in 2013.
The money that Alves has or that someone can lend him cannot redeem a man’s offense towards a woman he raped. That is a crime, said the president during the 44th birthday party of the Workers’ Party.
