What hits! Two captains of strong national teams will play in Poland again

The transfer window in PlusLiga for next season is still open. It is already known that several outstanding players will leave the Polish league, but also some outstanding players will join it. In the next competitions, we will not see Aleksander Śliwka, the American Torey DeFalco, the Brazilian Alan (all of them will go to Japan), the French Trevor Clevenot and Jean Patry or Fabian Drzyzga (all of them are planning to move to Turkey) on Polish courts.

However, transfers to the league promise to be equally impressive. Certainly nothing will beat Wilfredo Leon’s move to Bogdanka LUK Lublin, but Bartosz Kurek (Grupa Azoty ZAKSA Kędzierzyn-Koźle), American Aaron Russell (Aluron CMC Warta Zawiercie) and Slovenian Gregor Ropret (Aseco Resovia Rzeszów) are also scheduled to play in Poland next season ). In addition, everything points to the transfer of two captains of strong national teams to the Polish league.

Captain of the Iran national team in Częstochowa. Milad Ebadipour returns to PlusLiga

According to Jakub Balcerzak on the X portal, the new volleyball player of Exact Systems Hemarpol Częstochowa is the captain of the Iran national team, Milad Ebadipour. The 30-year-old player currently plays for the Russian Ural Ufa, but he is well known in Poland due to his five years of playing for PGE Skra Bełchatów (2017-2022). In 2018, he even won the Polish championship with her.

Ebadipour is one of the few Iranian volleyball players who combine two generations of the Iranian national team and is still its very strong point, although the Iranians will probably not play at the Olympic Games in Paris. For it to be different, they would have to do great in the Nations League in the summer to advance a few places in the FIVB ranking.

According to Balcerzak, this is not the only serious transfer of the Częstochowa players to the receiving position. The current player of PGE GiEK Skra Bełchatów – Bartłomiej Lipiński – is also expected to move to the team from Jasna Góra.

Exact Systems Hemarpol Częstochowa is very close to staying in the PlusLiga for the next season. The newcomer in the current competition is thirteenth in the table with 23 points and four rounds before the end he is eight points ahead of the last placed Enea Czarni Radom.

The captain of the Slovenian national team will play in Bełchatów. The first major reinforcement of Skra

As it turns out, Skra already has Lipiński’s successor. And not just any kind. According to Łódzki Sport, the captain of the Slovenian national team, Tine Urnaut, is to join the team from Bełchatów.

The 35-year-old player currently plays for the Japanese JTEKT Stings, led by former Skra coach Michał Mieszko Gogol. However, the Japanese intend to attract even bigger stars for the next season, namely the Brazilian Ricardo Lucarelli from Piacenza, the American Torey Defalco from Asseco Resovia Rzeszów, and the Japanese attacker Kento Miyaura from Paris Volley.

Therefore, Urnaut, a former volleyball player, among others. Itasu Trentino, of Modena, Allianz Milano and Zenit Saint Petersburg, will go to Skra, where he will cooperate with the Romanian coach Gheorghe Cretu. The Slovenian has already had the opportunity to play in PlusLiga in the past – in the 2010/11 season he represented ZAKSA Kędzierzyn-Koźle.

PGE GiEK Skra Bełchatów still has a chance to be in the playoffs this season. The Bełchatów team is currently in tenth place, but is only two points behind the eighth-placed ZAKSA.
