Violence Erupts Again in Nice: New Clashes and Stabbings in Moulins District

After the violence which punctuated the night of Monday March 25 to Tuesday March 26, the Moulins district in Nice was the scene of new clashes between hooded individuals this Tuesday. According to information from France Bleu, an 18-year-old person was injured and transported in serious condition to Pasteur hospital in Nice. The victim was reportedly stabbed.

Clashes also took place between these individuals and the police. Faced with violence, the police used tear gas and ball launchers. According to the Departmental Directorate of Public Security, a police officer was slightly injured in the leg during these clashes. A police vehicle was targeted and damaged, the windshield was broken.

After the brawl the previous night, during which an individual in his twenties was injured by a baseball bat-type weapon, according to Nice morning, the CRS 81, based in Marseille, was deployed to reinforce the police in the Moulins district.
