The Village Sports Center performed well in the finals of the Italian Junior A2 Championships held in Leini. There were three athletes involved in the race, accompanied by the coach Nicola Marzucco. Michela Cicchetti took seventh place overall in the up to 57kg category, after four hard-fought matches, while Michele Fabbri (66kg) and Erik Sangiorgi (81kg) reached the final.
Thanks to the matches won in the final Michele Fabbri obtained the first dan black belt. The athletes of the Village Sports Center will be busy this weekend with a series of races scheduled in Bologna and Grisignano.
