With very different profiles. Zoé Sauvannet, the youngest, 17 years old, is a pure product of the club with her 13 licenses. Julia Davin, 21, and Alexandre Taranne, 20, respectively from Gap and Yvelines, joined it recently after coming to Vichy for their studies.
Family atmosphere

If the two young girls showed themselves to be very diligent from the outset, Alexandre’s career as a practitioner was more up and down. “Due to a nasty knee injury and another year lost due to his professional project,” he explains. Julia talks about her “oxygen when she refers to judo. For Zoé, “the club is my second home. »
All three are therefore judo enthusiasts. The two students for “the technical requirement that this supposes”. Zoé came there “first of all for the physical confrontation and to gain respect from the boys. » But everyone finally understood “that the two aspects of the discipline are essential and complementary. » Alexandre also promises to force his reserved side to take his full place on the green carpet.
“A real pride”
If we ask them when they set the black belt as their goal, they are unanimous: “It’s something that seems unattainable for a long time. But once engaged in the process, it’s extremely motivating and a real source of pride upon arrival because the last step is really big. » And Zoé clarified, “you really have to go get her! »
And now ? Julia and Alexandre look towards the dances. Zoé, a child of the club, is inspired by the transmission aspect that she experienced from her peers. And their idol a few weeks before the Olympics? Frédéric Gouby, the “Mister black belt” of Vichy ASG judo.
