This year, the University of Salamanca has been in charge of organizing this competition that brings together more than a thousand athletes from the nine academic institutions of Castilla y León who have competed for the titles of the ten sports disciplines at stake, as well as the final degree from universities. And finally, the universities of the Community were classified in the following order: Salamanca (98 points), Valladolid (98 points), University of León (94 points), Miguel de Cervantes (90 points), Pontificia de Salamanca (86 points) , IE University (66 points), Universidad Isabel I (25 points) and Universidad Católica de Ávila (21 points).
In the final phase, the University of Salamanca tied with the University of Valladolid at 98 points, so the first place had to be decided at the mercy of the greatest number of first places that each one obtained, in different modalities, with the University of Salamanca being the winner. achieved gold in women’s futsal, women’s volleyball, chess and women’s badminton.
The trophy presentation ceremony took place this Saturday in the Miguel Unamuno pavilion of the University of Salamanca.
