Racing 92 hopes to regain confidence and serenity during this trip to Gironde. A crisis of confidence and results which caused Henry Chavancy’s teammates, currently deprived of internationals Cameron Woki, Gaël Fickou or Nolann Le Garrec, to fall to sixth place in the Top 14. Stuart Lancaster’s men will try to revive against the ‘UBB, a team they had defeated (23-18) in the first leg.
The people of Bordeaux are also having a hard time at the start of the year. UBB has lost three of its last four matches in the championship. Last weekend, the Girondins suffered the law of Castres (41-12). Before this debacle, UBB had also fallen against Pau (10-20) and Stade Français (26-30).
