We get so excited about offensive cards or “triple-doubles” that we sometimes forget that players can have a monstrous poor performance. This is unfortunately what happened to Tyrese Haliburton. Favorite of the start of the season and starter in the All-Star Game, the leader of the Pacers experienced his worst evening of the season last night, or even of his entire career.
Against the Pelicans, Haliburton finished the match with no points scored and a +/- of… -40!!! This is the first time since November 2021 that he finished a game with 0 points, and against the Pelicans’ very good outside defense, he scored 0 out of 7 on shots, including 0 out of 6 from 3-point range. On Wednesday, against the Raptors, he had already been in difficulty with a 2 out of 11 shooting.
Far from the “record” of the season
