Turkish Airlines EuroLeague Coach Fined for Behavior Towards Referees

The disciplinary commission of the “Turkish Airlines” EuroLeague sentenced Lukas Banki, the coach of the Latvian men’s basketball team, who manages the “Virtus” of Bologna, to a fine of 1000 euros for his attitude towards the referees in the 30th round game.

“Virtus” visited Kaunas “Žalgiris” in the 30th round match and lost 81:96.

During the game, Banki expressed his displeasure with the referees’ marking of the players and himself received two technical marks in a short period of time, which forced him to leave the court.
