Traffic Offender Reporting ‘Advertising Master’ Attacked on S-Bahn: Niclas Matthei Targeted by Football Fan

Bitterfeld (Saxony-Anhalt) – Niclas Matthei (18) made headlines in recent weeks because he reported more than 4,000 traffic offenders to the authorities. Now the self-proclaimed “advertising master” himself became a target and was attacked by a football fan.

At the beginning of March, according to police, an 18-year-old was robbed on an S-Bahn between Bitterfeld and Muldenstein (Saxony-Anhalt). The victim is Niclas Matthei. The “advertising master” confirmed the attack to BILD: “That’s right. Probably because of my fame.”

The man who filed more than 4,000 reports

The young man from Gräfenhainichen became known nationwide because he has an unusual hobby: he reports traffic violations. Last year, according to his own information, there were more than 4,000 pieces.

The attack occurred on March 2nd at around 6:20 p.m. After a soccer game between SG Dynamo Dresden and Halleschen FC, around 20 home fans were on the S-Bahn on their way back. Niclas was also on the train. He had just come from Chemnitz, where he had checked illegal parking during the day.

A previously unknown Halle fan is said to have violently snatched Niclas’ cell phone. According to the federal police, the S-Bahn stopped at the Muldenstein stop, where police officers took over the case.

Due to his injuries, Niclas was taken by ambulance to a nearby clinic and treated there as an outpatient. He suffered a bruise. His cell phone was later found on the track.

“The identity of the perpetrators is still being determined,” explains Niclas. Police investigations are continuing.
