The appointment with “Ritratto in Piazza” is back, the event organized with the support of the Municipality of Siena and involving the students of the Boninsegna Art School. This was decided by the municipal council in today’s session, Thursday 21 March, on the proposal of the councilor for youth policies Micaela Papi. On Friday 24th and Saturday 25th May, the students of the third year of high school will be in Piazza del Campo (Cortile del Podestà in case of bad weather) to create portraits of citizens and tourists who will be present at the initiative, drawings which will then be released free of charge.
“With the aim of always enhancing our young people – explains councilor Papi – we have decided, also thanks to the renewed proposal of the artistic high school, to promote this initiative which showcases the artistic skills of the students. An event that attracted great interest from citizens and tourists.” The activity, approved by the municipal council based on the proposal of the artistic high school, is part of the school-work alternation projects.
