Good morning friends of OA Sport and welcome to LIVE LIVE textual content of Aspen Giant 2024event of the men’s Alpine Skiing World Cup 2023/2024. After yesterday’s victory by Marco Odermatt we repeat in Colorado, with the second consecutive giant slalom on the American track.
Once again everyone will be against Odermatt, winner of the first test in Aspen. Thanks to yesterday’s success the Swiss is still undefeated in the giant slalom season, specialty in which he has been on a positive streak for 11 races. The Swiss demonstrated that he is still hungry for victory by putting Ingemar Stenmark’s record (14) in his sights. However, Odermatt will have to deal with fierce competition, who is trying in every way to ruin his plans.
Italy has just returned from an extremely positive day: yesterday the blue team placed two athletes in the top 10. It’s about Luca De Aliprandini, fifth, ed Alex Vinatzer, sixth. Instead, Filippo Della Vite and Giovanni Borsotti will go in search of redemption, having respectively left the scene in the first and second heats.
The first heat of the Aspen giant will start at 6.00 pm Italian time, while the second will start at 9.00 pm. The event will be visible on Rai Sport (only the first heat) and on Eurosport 1.
