We both plan to put everything we have and more and we are not going to hesitate to be 100% concentrated for the event. Their squad is a quality squad that has improved this season, but we know where their weak points may be and we are going to try to exploit it, although of course it will not be easy.”
The corner coach does not believe that 12+1 is a miracle: “We talk about a miracle as if it were the first time we have been in a final. It is true that we have been trying for several years without success, but I don’t think it would be appropriate to talk about a ‘miracle’ if it comes this year. Molina also believes that “There is no clear favorite. If I had to say who is going to win this final, I am sure that both they and us would not be able to say who is the clear favorite. The competition is more even than ever and the numbers match this fact. We have both had very close matches in the regular league and, although we have been leaders with solvency, we have suffered in several matches to take the victory. It is true that in the semifinals we have both done a great job but because when the final phase arrives, we both have that additional plus that means that we do not leave anything to chance and try to get to the final on the fast track. Mainly that is why we are the two most successful teams in the competition.”
Finally, The Badminton Rinconada coach wants to send a message to La Rinconada: “It is an indescribable pride for us to carry the name of La Rinconada around Spain and Europe year after year. That La Rinconada is known throughout the country but also in Finland, Italy, Poland, Austria, Germany, France, Belgium… It is something that we will always do with pride and honor.
