Texas A&M Women’s Basketball Players Arrested for Drug Possession Following Noise Complaints

College Station police’s response to citizen complaints about loud music leads to the arrest of three members of the Texas A&M women’s basketball team.

Arrest reports from the College Station Police Department say multiple calls began Wednesday (March 28) during midnight about loud music coming from a car in the parking lot of an apartment.

That was followed by more calls reporting people inside the car were smoking marijuana.

According to reports, 8.8 grams of marijuana and a vaporizer containing THC were seized.

The driver of the car, escort Kayla “Kay Kay” Green, 22, was arrested for misdemeanor possession of marijuana and possession of a controlled substance.

Also arrested for misdemeanor marijuana possession were teammates Maliyah Johnson, a 21-year-old reserve forward, and Kyndall Hunter, a 21-year-old reserve defenseman.

The three have been released from jail after posting bail of $7,000 for Green and $2,000 for Johnson and Hunter.
