Daniil Medvedev ordered a few days of relaxation after the defeat against Jannik Sinner.
Daniil Medvedev played a total of three games in the semi-final duel with Jannik Sinner. The 1:6, 2:6 was one of the clearest defeats for the fourth in the world rankings and was certainly an alarm signal that the connection to the currently best three players in the scene will not be lost.
In order to cope with the defeat, Daniil Medvedev took advantage of the weather in Florida and had a few more relaxed days, as a post from the Russian number one shows.
Certainly a good decision, with the end of the Sunshine Doubles in the USA the clay court season is just around the corner. Daniil Medvedev’s first appearance is at the ATP Masters in Monte Carlo. There is still a week left to prepare yourself for the change of surface. So the relaxing days won’t last too long.
