Great participation in the second “Torneo Del Duca” held yesterday in Acquaviva Picena. Around 150 athletes passionate about historical archery competed in the 18 shooting ranges located throughout the historic centre, from the “Rocca” to the “Colle”.
An exciting race that saw many competitors, young and old, challenge each other in the wonderful context of the medieval village, also much appreciated by the many accompanying people.
For the tourists present it was an opportunity to see the town full of athletes dressed in medieval clothes, trying their hand at targets made with details taken from the frescoes of the Town Hall
A day of celebration that not even the rain ruined as the intrepid archers continued to shoot as if nothing had happened. Everything went well thanks also to the great willingness to welcome the watermen.
Thanks to the LIAS (Italian League of Historical Archers) and the Arco Avis association of Spinetoli-Pagliare for the impeccable organization and congratulations again to the president Antonio Vagnoni who ranked on the highest podium in his category.
