A Judo event called “Judo Easter 2024” organized by the ASD Judo K. Club Avola took place on Sunday 24 March at the municipal Tensostatic Balloon of Avola. Record participation for the event, the mini judokas of the Syracuse sports center responded well to the first match in the competition and if the result is important, the experience gained even by those who did not obtain it is no less important. “Today was a good test for our competing mini Judokai – said Coach Cristian Di Caro -. In general I am satisfied with what the boys expressed today, I am sure, with time and hard work the nursery of the Siracusano Sports Center will give satisfaction”.
Miriam Castronovo and Antonino Garofalo participated in the event, led by the coaches Roberto dell’Aquila and Cristian Di Caro, who won 5 matches out of 6 played, while in the children’s category Mattia Raudino, Andrea Palmeri, Vittoria Novello and Francesco Cappello participated. , Gabriel Miccoli, Emanuele Reale, the opportunity to have had first contact with referees and above all with the gestures of the match director, of fundamental importance in this discipline, in anticipation of future sporting commitments, was positive.
