[이코노믹포스트=이석균 부장] Seocheon-gun announced that it will hold the ‘2024 Kim Hak-seok Cup National Badminton Championships (Elementary)’ at the Seocheon National Sports Center and Chungnam Taekwondo Hall for 7 days starting on the 29th.
Hosted by the Korea Badminton Association, organized by the Chungcheongnam-do Badminton Association and Seocheon-gun Badminton Association, and sponsored by Seocheon-gun and Seocheon-gun Sports Council, this competition is a large-scale national competition where players can earn points for participation in the national team selection competition.
During the competition, approximately 800 promising elementary school badminton players from all over the country will participate and use their honed skills to compete in an exciting shuttlecock competition.
The county expects that players, families, and tournament officials will stay throughout Seocheon-gun, providing accommodations and meals as well as visits to tourist attractions, thereby increasing the brand value of Seocheon-gun and contributing greatly to revitalizing the local economy.
