The senior athletes of the IES La Orden Badminton Club have shown to be in excellent shape after winning a total of seven medals in the Andalusian Senior Championship held last weekend in the Malaga town of Alhaurín de la Torre, in the that the albiazules one gold, three silver and three bronze were won.
Adrián Márquez and Adrián Acosta were among those big test winners, after becoming champions in Men’s Doubles A1. Márquez was also runner-up in Men’s Individual A1 and Acosta took third place in the category.
The Huelva club added to its record the silver achieved by Manuel Jesús Gómez and Estefanía Márquez in Mixed Doubles A and Estefanía Márquez and Ángela Romero in Women’s Doubles A, as well as the bronze of Daniel Amaro and Ángela Romero in Mixed Doubles A1 and that of José Luis Angulo and Juan Francisco Martínez in Men’s Doubles B1. In addition, Adrián Márquez and Estefanía Hernández and Juan Manuel López and Ana Belén Valle were fourth in Mixed Doubles A1 and B1, respectively.
