Schwab improves to fifth place in Singapore

With a round of 66, professional golfer Matthias Schwab improved significantly on the third day of the DP World Tour tournament in Singapore. With 206 strokes (ten under par), the Styrian is in fifth place like three other players before the final day.

The Australian David Micheluzzi is in the lead, who needed three strokes less than Schwab. Lukas Nemecz and Bernd Wiesberger share 18th place (7 under par).

Straka verpasst Cut in Palm Harbor

Meanwhile, Sepp Straka failed to make the cut at the PGA Tour tournament in Palm Harbor (Florida). The native of Vienna only recorded a round of 72 on Friday (local time) and ended up in tied 96th place with a total of two over par. For Straka, the focus is now on the first major of the year, the Masters in Augusta is scheduled for April 11th to 14th.

After a rain-affected second round, the lead in Palm Harbor was initially shared by a quintet led by Stewart Cink (USA) at six under par each.
