Sara Drinkenberg has won the regional reading competition. The ten-year-old primary school student from Soest had qualified for the final after a preliminary round with 21 participants, in which Noor de Liefde from Zeist was also allowed to compete.
Sara, a student at the 1st Van der Huchtschool, read from Mathilda, the book by Roald Dahl, at Kunstenhus Idea. “Have another piece of cake,” said the Trunchbull. ‘No thank you.
