Good news for the Clippers who could well recover Russell Westbrook faster than expected. While his return after his operation for a broken left hand was planned for the beginning of April, the Californian leader would already be on the verge of joining his teammates.
According to Adrian Wojnarowski, Russell Westbrook should indeed be able to hold his place during next week. His participation in the match against the Pacers this Monday is not completely ruled out, which would then be three weeks exactly after his operation.
Tyronn Lue’s training is slowing down in its a
bsence with only six victories in their last eleven matches, the last of which was away last night in Portland. His return will certainly provide a boost to the Clippers, in addition to giving him three good weeks to get back on track for the playoffs.
In his absence, Bones Hyland did not really seize his chance, since his playing time was again limited, with only seven then four minutes played during the double confrontation against the Blazers.
