Rogle Stuns First Place Farjestad in Triple Overtime Victory

“Rogle” won at home with the result 3:2 (0:0, 2:1, 0:1, 0:0, 0:0, 1:0) in the third overtime against the first place winner of the main tournament, “Farjestad”, and in the series up to four victories made it 3-0.

Michael Kapla scored the winning goal in the 109th minute of the game with a shot from a distance.

In the 12th minute of the second period, Abols skated across all zones and, surrounded by several opponents, made an accurate shot from the middle of the zone, achieving a 2:1 majority. In this match, the Latvian forward was on the ice for 29 minutes, scored five times, used one power play, won 15 of 27 shots and had a neutral efficiency ratio.

“Rogle” finished the main tournament in ninth place and beat “Timra” 2-0 in the round of 16 series.

In another quarter-final series, Šellefteo AIK, represented by Mārtiņas Dzierkals, wins 2-0 against “Linkoping”.

Last season, Vekshe “Lakers” became the champions, which defeated Schellefteo AIK 4-1 in the final series.
