While last month we saw him reach the quarterfinals at the ATP 500 in Rio, this past morning we were about to witness his first title in the Challenger category. He missed the final in Assumption before his compatriot Gustavo Heide (7-5, 6-7, 6-1), who at the age of 22 stole the headline of the day by raising the biggest trophy of his career to the sky.
