Ricardo Ten wins two medals on the final day of the Paralympic Track World Cup

The Spanish cyclist Ricardo Ten took center stage on the last day of the Paralympic Track World Championship, held in Rio de Janeiro (Brazil), winning this Sunday a silver in the Scratch C1 and bronze in the Omnium C1.

Spain closed its participation in the World Cup with three medals, after the silver that Alfonso Cabello won in the kilometer time trial on Saturday. Meanwhile, Ten did not miss another podium in his record, after falling just short of the Kilometer CRI and the Individual Pursuit, fourth in both events.

On the final day, the Valencian put on a show to dominate the sprint for the silver medal and beat Senska, Li and Keith, while ahead of us Weicong Liang took the rainbow. The second position in Scratch also gave him the third position in the Omnium.

Ten competed in the team speed with Alfonso Cabello and Pablo Jaramillo in the morning session. The trio from the Spanish team set a time of 50.556, which placed them fifth, just half a second away from entering the bronze medal final.

On the other hand, Luis Arcega competed in the C2 class Scratch, where he finished eighth, seventh in the Omnium, and Eduardo Santas, for his part, finished ninth in both the C3 Scratch and the Omnium.
