Gumi City, Gyeongbuk Province, will open the Deulseong and Gangdong Sports Center on April 1, where you can enjoy daily sports such as swimming, fitness, yoga, and badminton in one place.
The sports center is equipped with facilities such as a swimming pool (25m, 6 lanes), shower room, changing room, gym (Deulseong Sports Center: 100㎡, Gangdong Sports Center: 231㎡), and a GX room (multipurpose room) where yoga and aerobics will be operated.
On the 3rd floor of Deulseong Life Sports Center, you can enjoy badminton (4 sides), volleyball (1 side), and basketball (1 side).
Gangdong National Sports Center was selected in the 2017 Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism’s public contest for a life-friendly national sports center support project and was built with a total project cost of 13.7 billion won (3.8 billion won in national funds).
In addition, Deulseong Life Sports Center was selected in the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism’s sports promotion facility support project contest in 2018, and construction was completed with a total project cost of 16.5 billion won.
