Stéphane Robineau’s team facing that of Michel Hatchadourian: it was the shock of the start of the competition during the National Pétanque in Grasse.
It was the first very big poster on the Grasse side. Without Dylan Rocher or Diego Rizzi, Stéphane Robineau was there in the Alpes-Maritimes. The Fréjus player was accompanied for the occasion by Jean-Pierre Subrenat and Nelly Peyré.
A triplet which was one of the favorites, just like the one led by Michel Hatchadourian. The latter was the captain of a triplet with a strong Saint-Tropez accent. Cindy Peyrot and Cyrille Belhomme completed a highly anticipated trio in Grasse. A first poster which therefore pitted two of the favorites of the competition against each other… for a shock which kept all its promises.
